Magnolia ‘Sunsation’ is a deciduous tree with masses of upright yellow flowers with a rose pink flushed petal base in Spring. Flowers are 17cm across borne on leafless branches with elliptic ovate leaves of dark green.
Growing to 6m-8m high and 2m-3m wide this is a spectacular specimen tree for city and cottage gardens.

CONDITIONS: Needs a moist, organically rich well drained neutral to acid soil.
ASPECT: Full sun to part shade. Needs a protected location from strong winds and hot afternoon sun.

CARE: After planting water in well and provide extra water through dry periods. Fertilise in Spring and Autumn for best results.
