Magnolia Atlas (M. 'Mark Jury' x M. soulangeana 'Lennei') has one of the largest magnolia flowers in the world. Producing blooms up to 35cm across and petals 15cm wide in pink.
The atlas magnolia is a spectacular deciduous tree that will grow to approximately 5m high and 5m wide.

CONDITIONS: Prefers moist well drained neutral to acid soil.
ASPECT: Full sun to part shade. Needs a protected location from strong winds and hot afternoon sun.
FEATURES: Some of the largest Magnolia flowers in the world are borne on bare limbs in Spring. Moderate growth rate depending on optimal conditions.
CARE: After planting water in well and provide extra water through dry periods. Fertilise in Spring and Autumn for best results.
