Magnolia Black Tulip is a beautiful deciduous tree that produces magnificent, 6 inch black-purple, tulip-shaped flowers on bare limbs in Spring.
It will be happiest in the sun and will appreciate protection from strong winds.
Bred in New Zealand by leading Magnolia breeders, Felix and Mark Jury, Magnolia Black Tulip® is stunning.
Magnolia Black Tulip® is an upright smaller tree growing to a height of about 5m, making it suitable for smaller gardens or featured in larger landscape plantings.
DELIVERY TO METROPOLITAN ADELAIDE & ADELAIDE HILLS.
CONDITIONS: Prefers moist, organically rich well drained neutral to acid soil.
ASPECT: Full sun to part shade. Needs a protected location from strong winds and hot afternoon sun.
FEATURES: Magnificent purple/black 15cm blooms are borne on bare limbs in late Winter/ early Spring.
CARE: After planting water in well and provide extra water through dry periods. Fertilise in Spring and Autumn for best results.
