Pyrus salicifolia Disco Ball is a very round form of ornamental pear. This attractive shape lends itself to path borders, as a feature or an accent, as entrance trees to create structure in a garden, or even as a screen.
The Pyrus disco ball has small, silvery green foliage which tends to shimmer in the breeze. In autumn they put on a spectacular display as they change into deep orange tones.
This ornamental pear is hardy and highly adaptable to most positions and soil types, though it will do best in well drained soil.
The Disco Balls are on a 1.8m graft and will reach a size of 4x4m.
