Viburnum odoratissimum is commonly known as sweet viburnum. It quickly grows to form a dense screening hedge.
This evergreen hedging has lush green foliage, with fragrant clusters of white flowers in spring. Can be used as a screen, hedge, small feature tree or as a potted plant.
Sweet Viburnum will tolerate most soil types and positions, but prefers a full sun to part shade spot, with well draining soil. Will tolerate minor frosts to -3 degrees.
Mature size, if left unpruned, of 4m x 4m. For a dense hedge plant 1 per metre.
