Photinia Robusta is a lovely evergreen, dense shrub with oval, glossy, dark green leaves, which are coppery-red when young.
A justifiably popular hedging plant in Adelaide and Adelaide Hills produceing a flush of red foliage that darkens to green as the leaves mature.
It is tolerant of both frost and dry periods but will do best with a layer mulch and regular deep watering.
