Chanticleer ornamental pear tree has a narrow growth habit with luscious shiny green leaves that hang vertically from branches. Growing to 10m high and 5m wide, the Chanticleer ornamental pear is ideal for screening, driveways and small spaces.
Spring brings a display of lovely white flowers followed by small, red coloured fruits. In autumn, leaves turn a purple/red colour.
DELIVERY TO METROPOLITAN ADELAIDE & ADELAIDE HILLS.
CONDITIONS: Prefers a relatively fertile and well drained soil but will tolerate various conditions. Will tolerate dry conditions as well as wet periods.
ASPECT: Full sun but will tolerate some shade.
FEATURES: Beautiful foliage tree with deep red/purple autumn colour. A moderate growing tree with height to 10m.
CARE: After planting water in well and provide extra water through dry periods when young. Will appreciate fertilising in spring to deliver best results.
