Ornamental Cherry Kanzan is a striking deciduous tree with multiple seasons of interest.
The deep pink double flowers appear in large quantities in Spring. Each flower has over 20 petals. The leaves appear red/copper and first and mature to a deep green over summer and form a dense canopy making it a wonderful shade tree.
When young this ornamental cherry tree has a vase shape habit that spreads with maturity to 7-8m tall and wide.
