The Ornamental Manchurian Pear is highly valued for it’s ornamental form, leaves and flowers.
Masses of small white flowers appear in spring, with lovely green foliage through summer. In Autumn the leaves take provide a fabulous display of oranges and reds.
The Manchurian Pear is a excellent feature tree providing year round interest but is also perfect to be planted in rows or avenues.
Pyrus ussuriensis Manchurian Pear grows to approximately 5m-7m tall and 3m-5m wide.
CONDITIONS: Prefers moist, organically rich well drained soil.
ASPECT: Prefers Full Sun.
FEATURES: Upright tree with lovely year round interest.
CARE: After planting water in well and provide extra water through dry periods. Fertilise and mulch in Spring for best results.
